PREGNANCY MASSAGES

Pregnancy massages are performed in a side laying position with pillows and bolsters ensuring the most comfortable position for you and your baby. Similar to other massages, hands, fingers, knuckles, elbows or forearms are used when performing a pregnancy massage however, depth, tempo and specific areas are either focused on or avoided for optimum safety for you and your baby.

Pregnancy massages are known to reduce anxiety, decreased back, hip and leg pain. Improve sleep, increase the “feel-good” hormone serotonin and dopamine, and an overall improvement in mood and well being.
