Remedial massage is the manipulation of  muscle tissue within the body. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, knuckles, elbows or forearms. Using techniques such as gliding, kneading, holding, moving and applying pressure to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. The purpose of  remedial massage is generally for the treatment of pain, tension, injury management, repair or relaxation.

Remedial massages are known to reduce anxiety, decreased general aches and pains. Improve sleep, increase the “feel-good” hormone serotonin and dopamine, and an overall improvement in mood and well being.
