Deep tissue remedial massage is slower paced massage and the same manipulation of  muscle tissue within the body on a deeper level. Massage techniques are commonly applied with hands, fingers, knuckles, elbows or forearms. Using techniques such as gliding, kneading, holding, moving and applying pressure to the muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. The purpose of a deep  remedial massage is generally for the treatment of pain, tension, injury management, repair. Reaching deeper to  the underlaying muscles.
